Prototype of the Blackburn Botha

Here we see the prototype of the Blackburn Botha in December 1938, the month in which it made its maiden flight. The Botha was an unsuccesful design, with a reputation as a dangerous aircraft to fly. As a result it never fulled its original role as a front line torpedo bomber and naval reconnaissance aircraft.
